The Ruler of Sharjah has shared intimate family pictures of his late son with half a million of his social media followers. Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi posted personal snaps of Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, who died in London at the age of 39 last Monday, on Instagram over the weekend. Sheikh Dr Sultan led prayers at the funeral of his son on Wednesday, as tens of thousands of mourners turned out in force to pay their respects. He paid another personal tribute to Sheikh Khalid on Saturday by publishing poignant pictures of his son in his formative years through to adulthood on his Instagram account, which has more than 500,000 followers. The images have been 'liked' by more than 20,000 people on the social media platform in less than a day. Sheikh Khalid was a successful designer with his own fashion brand.
