Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed has been appointed as chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office, by order of President Sheikh Khalifa. The appointment of Sheikh Khalid, who is also a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, was among a slew of decrees issued by the Ruler of Abu Dhabi on Monday. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed was appointed chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court. The post was previously held by Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed, who is also a member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council. Dr Ahmed Al Mazrouei was appointed chairman of the newly established Office of the chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. Sheikh Khalifa also issued a decree assigning Falah Al Ahbabi as acting chairman of the Department of Transport, in addition to his current role of chairman of the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities. The Department of Government Support was established and Ali Al Ketbi was named chairman and a new member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. According to the decree, the Department of Government Support will include the Abu Dhabi Statistics Centre, Human Resources Authority, Abu Dhabi School of Government and Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, reported state news agency Wam. On Monday, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, added Mr Al Ketbi and Maryam Almheiri, director general of the Abu Dhabi Government Media Office, to the Executive Committee of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
