Northern Emirates employees to be paid early ahead of Eid

The National staff

DUBAI // The rulers of Umm Al Quwain and Ajman have ordered the early payment of salaries for all government employees ahead of Eid Al Fitr.

The decision by UAQ’s Sheikh Saud bin Rashid and Ajman’s Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid is due to their respective keenness to help employees and their families before the holiday break.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, ordered early payment of salaries last month, while Abu Dhabi has taken a similar decision. Ras Al Khaimah was the first to issue instructions to pay its workers early for Eid.

Officials in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, RAK, UAQ and Ajman have taken action to implement the orders, with government employees expected to be paid on July 14, a few days before Eid.
