Mohammed bin Rashid, Mohammed bin Zayed exchange greetings on Ramadan

DUBAI // Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met at Zabeel Palace on Saturday on the occasion of Ramadan.

The Rulers exchanged greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, and other UAE leaders.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also received tribal dignitaries who called on them to offer greetings on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. They prayed to grant welfare and happiness under the blessed leadership of President Sheikh Khalifa.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said the leadership’s meeting with citizens on religious and national occasions embodies the theme of national solidarity and “reflects our Arab and Islamic traditions and customs cherished by generations”.

“Our diverse community represents social and cultural fabric and a model of co-existence, harmony and collaboration,” Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said. “This is obviously seen by this communication and regular exchanges of visits among various segments of the society, especially in the month of Ramadan, the month of tolerance, compassion and forgiveness.”

“The leadership of the UAE is engaged in building human resources and making them happy.”

The Vice President also noted Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed’s frequent meetings with various segments of the society, including students, academics, doctors, military and sportsmen. These meetings, he said, reflect the spirit of cohesion and authentic values inherited by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed from his father and Founding Father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed.
