Leadership of policewomen discussed at forum

Abu Dhabi Police recently held a forum on the leadership role of policewomen.

Professor Amanda Broderick, dean of the Business School at the University of Salford in the UK, was one of the speakers.

She explained how a number of factors influence a woman’s leadership potential, including their character and skills, intelligence, listening ability and confidence in public speaking.

Captain Huda Al Ma’aini, head of the force’s Policies Division, said the conference gave the chance to review practices and to exchange and develop knowledge.
