SHARJAH // Humanitarian policies should precede any political decisions made, said the Ruler of Sharjah during a recent visit to Malaysia.
Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi met Dr Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, Sultan of Perak, on his visit and the pair discussed relations between the UAE and Malaysia, which have grown in recent decades.
During the meeting, the two talked about Islamic countries around the world, especially those facing war, political problems and refugee crises.
Sheikh Sultan and the Sultan of Perak also reviewed areas of joint cooperation between the emirate of Sharjah and Malaysia, which share similar visions in many key industries.

Some 400,000 shrubs and 13,000 trees in the on-site nursery
An additional 450,000 shrubs and 4,000 trees to be delivered in the months leading up to the expo
Ghaf, date palm, acacia arabica, acacia tortilis, vitex or sage, techoma and the salvadora are just some heat tolerant native plants in the nursery
Approximately 340 species of shrubs and trees selected for diverse landscape
