Abdulrahman Al Owaiss, Minister of Health, issued a decision to implement flexible working hours at the ministry’s offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi starting on October 12. The decision allows employees to better use their time, and will positively affect services offered to the public. Employees will be allowed to start work between 7am and 8.30am, and must work seven hours daily. During Ramadan, working hours will be 9am to 10am and end five hours later. The system will be evaluated in six months.
