DUBAI // Dubai Municipality launched a campaign on food safety, health and nutrition this week.
The Healthy to Happy school awareness programme organised by the municipality's food safety department is part of the emirate's efforts to reduce obesity and raise awareness about adopting a healthy lifestyle, reported Aletihad, the Arabic-language sister paper of The National.
More than 300 pupils from public and private schools and school administrators from 22 schools participated in a series of workshops and lectures, which focused on healthy and mindful eating, food poisoning, and the health benefits of physical activity.
