Bahrain's King Hamad arrived in the UAE for a private visit on Monday. The monarch was welcomed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed, the Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region. Wam, the UAE’s news agency, shared a video of the king’s arrival, which showed him being greeted by a large delegation. Members included Sheikh Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed; Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed; and Sheikh Yas bin Hamdan bin Zayed. They were accompanied by a number of Sheikhs and senior officials, as well as Khalid bin Abdullah bin Ali bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahraini Ambassador to the UAE. The Bahraini king last visited the UAE in November. He was joined by King Abdulla II of Jordan, for a tripartite summit in Abu Dhabi with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
