Morning fog will persist next week as humidity remains high overnight, forecasters have warned. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said patches fog and mist will continue to form over the next five days, especially in the west. Cloud could build in the east from Monday afternoon and in the north by Tuesday afternoon, according to the bureau. The weather is expected to be fair over the weekend and on Sunday and partly cloudy on Monday and Tuesday. Humidity is expected to reach 95 per cent by night and in the early morning across internal and coastal areas. Temperatures in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will range between 25°C and 42°C over the weekend, while the sea is expected to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea. Early morning fog will be common in the months to come, as summer comes to a close. Fog has enveloped parts of the UAE during the past days creating dangerous driving conditions and causing multiple accidents on the roads. On Wednesday, drivers were warned not to exceed 80kph per hour after the speed limit was reduced due to the treacherous weather.
