Flights to and from UAE unaffected by heavy fog in London

Heavy fog led to 100 flights being cancelled at Heathrow on Monday.

DUBAI // Passengers travelling between the UAE and London Heathrow have avoided disruptions caused by heavy fog in the UK capital.

The conditions led to 100 flights being cancelled at Heathrow on Monday but Etihad Airways said their scheduled flights were running on time.

According to the Emirates website, the carrier’s scheduled flights are also unaffected with no reports of delays or cancellations expected.

All British Airways flights from Heathrow to Dubai and Abu Dhabi are running as normal.

Flights BA0106 and BA0072 departed Dubai and Abu Dhabi for London on Monday morning and BA0108 took off from Dubai about 30 minutes late to Heathrow.

Flights operated by Virgin Atlantic were also unaffected.
