FUJAIRAH // A fire broke out on Wednesday night in a Fujairah landfill site between Centerpoint in Al Dana Plaza and Al Manama Hypermarket.
Firefighters and a rescue team were dispatched to the site after receiving a call around 10pm, said police.
The high-speed winds caused the fire to spread quickly but firefighters worked quickly to avoid damage to surrounding shops.
No casualties were reported.
