Fire breaks out in Al Quoz warehouses

A fire broke out in two warehouses in Al Quoz on Tuesday.

Civil Defence were alerted to the blaze at 11.17pm and dispatched firefighting teams from two nearby stations.

The fire was extinguished in just under two hours before it could spread to neighbouring warehouses in the industrial area.

The damaged warehouses were used to store construction materials but it is not clear what caused the fire.

No casualties were reported.
