Fire breaks out in Ajman warehouses

No injuries were reported in the blaze, which took hold in a factory storing food products, Ajman Civil Defence said.

AJMAN // A fire broke out in two warehouses in an industrial area of Ajman on Wednesday morning.

No injuries were reported in the blaze, which took hold in a factory storing food products, Ajman Civil Defence said.

Firefighting crews from all stations in Ajman, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain extinguished the fire in 40 minutes before cooling the area, said Col Nasser Al Zari, public relations director at Ajman Civil Defence.

Ajman Municipality provided water tankers.

The site was handed over to authorities at Ajman Police to determine the cause of the fire.
