UAE weather: Winds blowing dust and sand threaten visibility

Blowing dust and sand will bring poor visibility to some areas on Monday.

Weather in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will only reach the high 30s on Monday after days of temperatures in the 40s.

In Dubai, the slightly cooler day will top out at 39°C while Abu Dhabi will only get to 38°C.

Similar temperatures are expected elsewhere along the coats and islands, and the interior could reach 44°C

The National Centre of Meteorology forecast dusty to partly cloudy at times especially eastward, and temperatures tend to decrease.

It says there will be moderate to fresh winds, gusting to strong at times especially over the sea. Wind along the coast will be 25-35km/h and may reach 50km/h.
