Forecasters predict strong gusts and rough seas across the UAE on Sunday. Northwesterly winds reaching 40kph and choppy waters with waves reaching two metres are forecast until late afternoon. This coincides with a chilly bout of weather across the country, with lows of 5.8°C recorded on Jebe Jais at 5.30am. The National Centre of Meteorology said it will be cloudy at times during the day over the islands and some coastal areas, especially in the west with a chance of rain. Temperatures could reach highs of 29°C. Humidity along the coast is forecast to reach 80 per cent while the interior could be at 85 per cent. These conditions are expected to last for the next few days.
