UAE weather: temperatures to reach 46°C but also some rain possible

Abu Dhabi is likely to reach 42°C while Dubai is forecast for high of 40°C.

UAE temperatures will hit the mid 40s with Abu Dhabi and Dubai enjoying slightly cooler highs.

The 46°C maximum will bring with it a slight chance of rain. There’s also the possibility of some cloudy skies.

The coast and islands will be slightly cooler that inland areas.

The National Centre of Meteorology says conditions will be hazy and partly cloudy, especially in western and coastal areas.

What rain there is will be on the islands.

Winds will bring in dust and sand as speeds reach up to 40kph.

Tuesday is looking like a repeat with haze, cloud and the possibility of some rain.
