UAE Weather: temperatures in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to reach low 40s

Temperatures in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will reach the low 40s on Monday, while parts of the interior could reach 48°C.

In Dubai the forecast is for 40°C maximum with 4kph winds, while Abu Dhabi should reach 41°C and winds of 9kph.

Along the coast and islands the maximum is likely to be 44°C and the mountains are expected to hit 39°C.

Humidity along the coast is forecast to reach 90 per cent while the interior could be at 85 per cent.

The National Centre of Meteorology said Monday would be fair to partly cloudy.

The relative humidity will increase overnight and into Tuesday morning over some coastal and internal areas, especially northwards.

There will be light to moderate winds that cause some blowing dust.

Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
