UAE weather: hot and hazy, with possibility of rain

It will be fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times in the UAE on Sunday, according to the National Centre for Meteorology.

Low cloud is expected in the east in the morning, with the slight prospect of rain in the afternoon.

Temperatures in Abu Dhabi will be up to 40°C, while humidity could reach as high as 70 per cent.

In Dubai, temperatures could hit  38°C, with humidity of between 15 per cent and 35 per cent.

Light to moderate winds will provide some relief from the heat and there will be a slight wind in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
