Fog covered parts of the country on Thursday morning with visibility down to less than 1,000 metres in some areas.
Fog and mist settled over Al Marfa and Al Seila, with forecasters expecting the fog to last until 8am.
The high levels of humidity along the coast and interior areas would cause fog to form, during early morning hours, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.
Meanwhile, hot and dusty conditions are set to continue across the country with the cloud cover increasing in eastern areas by the afternoon.
Morning temperatures reached 34°C in Abu Dhabi, 69 per cent relative humidity.
Light to moderate winds may stir up dust over exposed areas in the country.
