Freshening winds and increasing cloud cover will bring the chance of outbreaks of rain for some parts of the UAE on Saturday and into Sunday. Eastern and northern areas are most likely to catch a shower on Saturday afternoon, with temperatures falling to 24C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. According to social media users, Ras Al Khaimah saw rain in some areas on Saturday. Winds speeds reaching 30km per hour on Sunday will reduce visibility in places, as blowing sand and dust could cause problems for motorists in exposed areas. The rest of the week looks to be mainly fair, with cloud cover at times and evening humidity bringing fog and mist patches along coastal areas. It will continue to feel cool during the week ahead, with more outbreaks of rain expected, although wind speeds are expected to drop to about 15 km per hour. A similar pattern of low pressure is expected to bring slightly unsettled weather into the Christmas week, with cloudy conditions likely to bring more possibilities for light rain showers.
