Thick patches of fog blanketed parts of the UAE early on Wednesday.

The country is set for a mainly sunny day, with a few cloudy spells.

The National Centre of Meteorology expects temperature to rise across the country.

The weather bureau forecasts temperature to reach up to 38°C in Abu Dhabi and 36°C in Dubai.

The NCM said wind speeds may reach up to 38kph by the coast.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
