UAE weather: Dubai and Abu Dhabi to reach 44°C

Dubai and Abu Dhabi will reach temperatures in the mid 40s on Tuesday as other areas along the coast and islands top out at 45°C.

In both cities, temperatures will hit 44°C and there is forecast to be some haze in Dubai.

Along the coast and islands, humidity could reach 90 per cent and inland it could get up to 85 per cent.

The National Centre of Meteorology said fair to partly cloudy conditions were expected at times, with a chance of convective cloud forming by afternoon.

Light to moderate south-easterly to north-easterly winds will be freshening at times, causing blowing dust.

Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
