After a downpour in the north of the country over the weekend, the UAE will continue to see clouds and potentially rain in northern areas on Sunday. Top temperatures could reach 39°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi on Sunday, the National Centre of Meteorology said, but temperatures are likely to drop across the country. It is expected to be humid by night and early on Monday morning, especially in the west of the UAE. In some parts of the country, particularly in coastal regions, humidity levels are expected to hit as high as 90 per cent, the weather bureau said. Winds way may reach speeds of up to up to 40kmph in mountainous regions but will likely be slower elsewhere in the country. Conditions will be moderate, becoming rough at times, in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
