UAE weather: Dubai and Abu Dhabi set for hot and dusty Saturday

Weather conditions in Dubai on Saturday will be mostly clear and sunny with a moderate breeze.

Temperatures are due to peak at 42°C shortly after midday, accompanied by gentle winds of up to 24kph.

The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of clear skies and light breezes.

Temperatures are predicted to be slightly cooler, reaching 39°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 19kph.

The National Centre of Meteorology is predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general, but predicted a chance of some fog and mist forming by night and into Sunday morning.

Moderate winds could pick up dust at times, it said, and humidity will increase by night.

Night time temperatures could drop to around 34°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of Saturday night and the early hours of Sunday morning.
