Drivers in the UAE have been warned to take extra care on the road on Saturday, as the formation of fog and mist over coastal and internal areas could reduce horizontal visibility. The National Centre of Meteorology, which issued the warning on Friday night, said the fog was likely to be worst in western areas of the country, beginning in the early hours of Saturday. The Centre said conditions should have improved by around 8am however. After the mist clears, weather conditions in Dubai are due to be mostly sunny with a moderate breeze. Temperatures are due to peak at 38°C shortly after midday, accompanied by winds of up to 23kph, which could pick up dust. The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of clear skies and light breezes. Temperatures are predicted to be slightly cooler, reaching 37°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 18kph. Humidity will increase by night into Saturday morning. Night time temperatures could drop to around 28°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of the night.
