UAE weather: Dubai and Abu Dhabi set for cool and clear Friday

Fair conditions are expected to last for the weekend

Weather conditions in Dubai on Friday will be mostly clear and sunny with a chance of some clouds with light winds.

Temperatures are due to peak at 24°C shortly after midday, accompanied by gentle breezes of around 18kph.

The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a cloudier start, giving way to mostly clear skies and light breezes in the afternoon.

Temperatures are also predicted to hit 24°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 15kph.

The National Centre of Meteorology is predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general, but predicted strong winds and rough conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea.

The Centre said humidity will increase by night into Saturday morning.

Night time temperatures could drop to around 18°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of Friday night and the early hours of Saturday morning.
