UAE weather: city temperatures in high 30s

Temperatures along the coast and the interior will hover around the mid-40s on Wednesday.

But in Abu Dhabi city it is likely to reach 39°C and Dubai could be a degree cooler.

Along the coast and islands, it is forecast to top out at 42°C, while the interior is likely to reach 44°C.

Humidity along the coast and the interior is forecast to reach 95 per cent and in the mountains it is likely to be at 65 per cent.

The National Centre of Meteorology forecasts that Wednesday will be generally fair conditions.

There will be light to moderate winds, freshening at times during the day.

Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

Humidity will kick in overnight and on Thursday morning there could be with fog and mist in some coastal and internal areas.
