UAE weather: Chance of light rain for Dubai and Abu Dhabi

Fog warning in place as drivers urged to take care in poor visibility on Saturday morning

Weather conditions in Dubai on Saturday will be mostly clear and sunny with a chance of some clouds which could bring some light rainfall.

Temperatures are due to peak at 28°C shortly after midday, accompanied by moderate winds of up to 19kph.

There is a small chance of showers in the morning and early afternoon.

The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of mostly clear skies and light breezes.

Temperatures are predicted to be slightly cooler, reaching 26°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 14kph.

The National Centre of Meteorology is predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general, but predicted a chance of some fog and mist forming in coastal areas.

The Centre said in a statement that poor visibility is expected at times over some internal and coastal areas, especially in central and western parts of the Emirates.

The fog is predicted to be at its worst during the morning on Saturday

Relative humidity will increase by night into Sunday morning, the Centre is predicting.
