Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme rewarded for Estidama initiative

UMM AL QUWAIN// The Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme has been awarded a two-pearl rating by the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council under its environmentally-focused Estidama programme.

The UAQ residential compound is the second project outside the emirate of Abu Dhabi to receive the pearl rating. The Ajman residential complex, which contains 306 villas on a 502-square metre plots in Al Raqaib2, was the first, according to Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister newspaper of The National.

The UAQ complex is made up of 232 houses over 830,449sqms in Martyrs City between Al Etihad and Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Roads close to Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital, Ministry of Social Affairs and Traffic and Patrol Department.
