Cloudy and rainy weather expected across UAE

ABU DHABI // Cloudy weather will continue across the country on Sunday with the possibility of showers in northern and eastern areas.

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology said that the humidity would increase during the night and Monday morning, meaning there could be some fog tomorrow.

The maximum humidity was expected to rise up to 85 per cent in coastal areas, 95 in inland areas and 75 per cent in mountainous areas, said the NCMS.

Temperatures would reach 28°C in coastal areas where as in mountainous areas, it will remain between 15 and 20°C.

This morning, the lowest recorded temperature was 8.8°C on Jais Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah.

The NCMS also forecast moderate to rough seas in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
