AJMAN // Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman, has directed that financial grants be given to all contributors in the Ajman Association for Fishermen, on the occasion of Ramadan, as of next Monday.
The gesture is meant to encourage citizens to take to the profession of fishery and is also a demonstration of Sheikh Humaid’s interest in fishermen and their needs and conditions, reported the state news agency, Wam.
The aid is also aimed at ameliorating the tough conditions fishermen face and making it easier for them and their families to lead decent lives.
