Emirati found dead in car in Fujairah ‘overdosed on drugs’

Family of Emirati, who was from Ajman, called police as the 30-year-old had been missing for two days.

FUJAIRAH // An overdose killed a 30-year-old Emirati man found dead in his car last Friday, police have revealed.

Fujairah Police said the post-mortem examination confirmed that M G died from drugs in his car, which was parked at Fujairah Hospital.

Police said the operations room received a call from the brother of the deceased, who reported that M G had been missing from his home in Ajman for two days. The brother also said a friend of M G’s told the family that he was in the car park of Fujairah Hospital.

Police investigated and found the man’s body in the car park.

CID are questioning friends of the deceased who were with him before he died to find out more information, and the investigation is ongoing.
