An Emirati explorer will hoist a UAE flag in the world's deepest cave next week, to raise awareness for Down's Syndrome.

An Emirati explorer will hoist a UAE flag in the world's deepest cave next week, to raise awareness of Down's Syndrome.

Inside the cave, in Georgia, Saeed Al Muammeri will also put up photos of President Sheikh Khalifa, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and the founding President Sheikh Zayed.

Sonia Ahmed Al Hashimi, chairperson of the UAE Down Syndrome Association, said Mr Al Muammeri's efforts were appreciated and that it was important for all Emirati youth to help out.
