Emirati accused of harassment denies allegations



ABU DHABI //‎A school principal accused of harassing a woman at a hotel has argued that CCTV footage proves he did not commit the crime, the Appeals Court heard on Sunday.

The Emitati defendant was at a hotel with guests when a woman arrived with police officers and accused him of harassment.

“The CCTV footage showed that I did not do anything... she suddenly appeared in front of me and my guests with the police,” he told the court.

The woman also accused him of verbally insulting her. In court, the principal told prosecutors what he said to her on the night of the incident was as a response to her accusations.

A verdict will be issued on September 28.
