An Emirates airline flight, which took off from Dubai on Sunday en route to Adelaide, Australia, was forced to make an unscheduled stop in India for a medical emergency.
An airlines spokesman said flight EK440 landed in Mumbai at about 6am UAE time after a passenger felt unwell.
“Medical and security personnel attended the arrival flight,” he said “Due to night-time arrival and departure restrictions in Adelaide, the aircraft returned back to Dubai.”
Passengers were then placed on a later flight from Dubai.
