The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation announced its partnership with Dubai courts on the My Family Reads initiative, which aims to enhance knowledge levels within the community.
Jamal bin Huwaireb, managing director of the foundation, delivered a large collection of books, consisting of international classics and best-selling titles, to Tarish Al Mansouri, director general of Dubai courts, to be distributed to court employees.
The increasing influence of digital entertainment and social media in the modern society has led to shrinking reading habits,” Mr bin Huwaireb said. “Through the My Family Reads initiative, our effort is to establish a culture of reading within the UAE.”
