Dubai given a vocational boost

Vocational education in Dubai has been given a boost by a new Executive Council Resolution to regulate and accredit vocational education and training.

The resolution authorises Dubai’s education regulator, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, to organise, supervise, monitor and accredit vocational training institutes.

The resolution applies to all private entities providing vocational training, such as special development zones and free zones including the Dubai International Financial Centre.
