ABU DHABI // Schools in Abu Dhabi will close by noon on Thursday for the Qasr Al Hosn Festival.
Pupils will be taken home early on reorganised school buses to avoid traffic jams caused by road closures.
The four main roads surrounding the ancient palace fort in the city centre will be closed off for the festival’s opening ceremonies.
The British International School has asked parents to collect their children by 11.30am.
Staff at other schools, such as Aldar Academies, will stay behind to supervise pupils whose parents are unable to pick them up.
