SHARJAH / Two men have been arrested for selling and storing large amounts of pirated and X-rated DVDs.
The Bangladeshis were apprehended by police after officers received a tip off that illegal DVDs were being sold near bachelor apartments and in public areas around the emirate.
The officers arrested the men inside an apartment and found 10,000 DVDs. During interrogation, the men confessed to storing and selling illegal DVDs.
Colonel Jihad Saeed Bin Sahoo, director of CID in Sharjah urged the public to report illegal and immoral activities.
