Temperatures will be an average of 5°C cooler in the north of the country on Friday but will rise sharply on Saturday. Uncharacteristically heavy rain fell in Fujairah on Thursday with more expected in the north-eastern areas of the country over the weekend. Temperatures will reach up to 45°C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and 46°C in Ruwais. Evenings will be perfect patio weather, with lows of 26°C in Abu Dhabi, 27°C in Sharjah and 24°C in Ras Al Khaimah. Seas will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman. Skies will be partly cloudy across the country.
