A water taxi service has been launched today between Dubai Creek and Dubai Marina to Jumeirah Open Beach, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced.
The initiative is in line with plans to enhance marine means of transport in Dubai, said officials.
Baha Al Qudra, director of marine transport, said: "Launching this service aims at enabling tourists, visitors and residents to enjoy seeing the tourist and heritage destinations that exist in the Festival City areas surrounding Dubai Marina Mall and Deira Old Souk reaching to the Open Beach.
