Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai and general supervisor of the project of transforming Dubai into a smart city, has issued directives to public departments and institutions in the emirate to prepare for implementing a “Happiness Index”, launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, in the coming months.
Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, chairman of the Dubai Smart City project and chairman of Executive Office of Sheikh Mohammed, said the implementation of the Happiness Meter will depend on readiness of infrastructure.
