Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, said "nothing can stop" the UAE's ambitions. He spoke at his annual brainstorming session with the team at his Emirates Towers offices. Sheikh Mohammed said the UAE is a model for the region but sustaining the country’s position requires hard work and innovative ideas. He made his comments less than two months after criticising the results of an employee satisfaction survey. He described the results as being unacceptably low and gave managers six months to improve morale. “Ideas are like trees: they need a lot of care so we can reap their fruits”, he said.
