The Municipality said it was proud of the spirit of one of its own.
“This courage and dignity should be taken as an example and a model for all. This attitude shows the extent of peaceful coexistence and the spirit of social responsibility in the hearts of all members of the society in the country,” said Dawood Al Hajiri, director general of the municipality while awarding Mr Bhansi a certificate in recognition of his efforts.
Mr Bhansi has said he would never hesitate to help people in distress.
