Dubai rent deals: Six of the best you'll find today

If you're hunting for an apartment to rent in Dubai this summer, you may just find yourself a cracking deal.

Family budget cuts, job losses and the arrival of new homes on the market are forcing prices down.

Tenants are driving a hard bargain with their landlords, particularly when it comes to the number of cheques.

Some are affordable, while others are luxury - but all have seen a steep reduction in price.

Situated at the beginning of the Palm Jumeirah, Azure residences offers clients a relaxing setting with direct access to the beach and shared swimming pool. This large one bedroom apartment was going for Dh135,000 to Dh145,000 this time last year. The current price is Dh125,000 and a great price to live on the Palm, with stunning views of the Burj Al Arab and beyond.

Murjan 6, Jumeirah Beach Residence

Size: 1,882 sq ft

3 bedrooms plus maid’s room

4 bathrooms

Price: Dh140,000

This three bedroom plus maids room apartment in the Murjan 6 tower was Dh170,000 last year and now we are advertising it for Dh140,000. It’s the only three-bed apartment in this building at this price. It is spacious and has views of JBR beach and the sea.

This immaculate, generously sized, 4 bedroom villa with maid’s room is on a quiet Cul de Sac in one of the most sought after areas in Arabian Ranches. It was going for Dh230,000 in June 2017, now Dh209,000 - a drop of just over 9 per cent.

This is a huge apartment with a full view of the sea and marina. This was rented out for Dh290,000 this time last year but it’s now going for around Dh250,000.

There are not many villas in the marina – in fact this is one of a handful. Close to the Marina Walk, Spinneys and M&S, it’s also a five-minute walk to the beach. Eighteen months this was going for Dh500,000 – now it’s Dh340,000.
