SHARJAH // Dozens of people were taken to hospital on Wednesday after a gas leak on a construction site.
More than 70 workers received treatment after inhaling the gas, which police said leaked from cylinders being scrapped.
The incident took place in Industrial Area 3, with the workers being taken to Al Qasimi and Kuwaiti Hospital.
All were released later that evening and no serious injuries were reported.
An investigation is under way.
