DUBAI // Work has begun on a Dh108 million project to launch a 16km water distribution network between Jebel Ali and Al Quoz by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority. The project is part of Dewa’s aim to meet the power and water requirements of the emirate.

“The project includes extending the 1,200 mm water transmission pipeline by a further 16km from Jebel Ali through Al Khail Road to the pumping station complex in Al Quoz,” said Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Dewa’s managing director and chief executive.
