Three lucky Emirates Islamic bank clients will ring in the New Year a little richer after they were named winners of the quartely Kunooz prize draw.
S. R. Al Mazrouei won the grand cash prize of Dh1 million, while A M Al Ktebi walked away with a new Bentley GT V8, and Makbal Akhmetova became the proud owner of a studio apartment.
The winners received their prizes at a special ceremony, which was held at Emirates Islamic’s Head Office in Dubai Saturday, and was attended by senior officials from the bank.
“The idea behind the Kunooz account is to encourage our customers to save for the future and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise and the Kunooz prize draw is a fantastic opportunity to reward our customers who have proactively developed the saving habit. This scheme falls in line with our overall strategy to foster a culture of saving and financial responsibility among our customers,” said Faisal Aqil, the bank’s deputy CEO, consumer wealth management.
Any customer who opens a Kunooz account and maintains the minimum required balance has the opportunity to become a winner. The scheme also allows customers to win several weekly and quarterly prizes, earn periodic profit and have instant access to their funds through over 100 Emirates Islamic branches and ATMs across the UAE, as well as a broad range of alternative channels. The account also offers participants the possibility to win more than once.
The next quarterly grand draw will take place on Sunday 5th January 2014 when account holders will have the chance to win AED 1 million, a Bentley GT V8 and a studio apartment.
