DUBAI // A delivery man who denied molesting a boy and claimed he only kissed the child because he reminded him of his son, was found guilty of sexual assault by Dubai Criminal Court.
The Indian, 35, was delivering food to an apartment in the boy’s building in Al Raffa on December 27 last year.
He met the child, whose ages was not in records, in the lift, where he kissed him and touched his private parts.
“We received a report of the incident and the suspect was arrested. When I questioned him he told me he did not touch any part of the boy’s body and only kissed him on the cheek because he reminded him of his son back in India,” said a policeman.
Records did not mention who reported the incident to police.
The delivery man will be deported after serving his three-month prison term.
